FYI: CB5-132T-C9ES is the type of my chromebook where the 1-key was broken. If a wireless mouse or keyboard does not respond, check for connection and power issues. One of the chromebooks is a 14-x000na, and the other is 14-x006na. HP Chromebook 14 ak040nr keyboard not working. If the Startup Menu screen does not open, the integrated keyboard hardware is not working. I have two chromebooks here with certain keys not working. On the 14-x000na, the 6, y, h, n, 7, u, j and m keys are not working, and on the 14-x006na the 8, i, k and , keys aren't working. None of the keys work at all. The only option you have with the chromebook is to perform a Powerwash or factory reset to resolve your keyboard issue. Service or replace the integrated keyboard in the notebook. My keyboard no longer works, but the track pad is still functional. I have reset to factory settings, but this didn't do anything. Already completed a power wash and cannot ec reset because power button on keyboard does not work. Is there anything that I can do to possibly reset the chromebook? To continue using the notebook, connect a USB wired keyboard to a USB port, and then restart the computer.
