Rosine's is a gem of a restaurant. Their hummus is truly an amazing experience. We also had lamb chops, very tender, and really good. They have a great Lebanese wine that we tried to locate at a wine ship, but couldn't, so they said that their bottles of wine are available for to go purchases and they are about $10 off the wine list price! It's the perfect mixture of garlic and lemon mixed in. The. It is soooo moist and falls off the bone, I mean FOTB often used without proper control or designation, but Rosine's chicken is...F.O.T.B. Ok I'll get to the point....just plain unappetizing. Tabouli Grill serves Israeli and Middle Eastern food made with fresh, wholesome ingredients — food you can feel good about eating! I would eat at Rosine's over Zankou any day. I was thrilled to find a place with Lebanese cuisine in the area where I could satisfy my odd cravings for garlic sauce and pickled turnips. Still tastes delicious and the prices are still reasonable. But do plan to bring your date or a small group of friends to enjoy the candle-lit tables and cozy ambiance.Start your meal with some wine. The tabbouleh was very sour and drenched. Their food is pretty bomb. At 6pm, the dining room was nearly empty, but by the time we left, even the seats at the bar were full.The Lehmejoun or Armenian pizza ($6) was more like a grilled pita sandwich filled with minced beef, tomatoes, parsley, bell peppers, and onions. Made with chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, extra virgin olive oil the creaminess and flavor profile of this dish was amazing.Wheat pilav with orzo noodles - I'm glad I opted for this dish as it provided for a nice change of place versus a typical rice dish. I am not the type of person to order grilled or baked or rotisserie chicken for a main plate entree at a restaurant. is the mini portion of Baklava for dessert.
